The multi_award_winning hip hop Malawian musician, Phyzix is set to launch his 15th album "MOUNTAIN GOAT" on 15 December, 2023 at Amaryllis hotel in Blantyre.
The project has been in the works since January, 2021. The album consists of 15 songs and features with both international and local artists.
"It is an honour to be featured alongside local veterans in music industry such as Lucius Banda and The Black Missionaries Band (Ma Blacks) in this album". Posted on his Facebook page.
The concert will be hosted by Che Kalonda and Hanareen Doness and exchanged the stage with both international artists such as Loki from South Africa, Drift Trek from Zambia and some local artists such as Afana ceez, Mwanache, Tuno, Charisma Madness, Third Eye and many more.
Phyzix, real name Noel Chikoleka breakthrough into music industry in 2006 when he released a track tittled "Cholapitsa" and he regarded as one of the most successful and inspiring hip hop star from Malawi.
Heading to the launch, Phyzix has got partnership and sponsorship for the Mountain Goat Concert with Mr Benedicto Bena Nkhoma.
"We are working hard to deliver a world class event for our dear people and such support will make it possible." He said.
Hip hop veteran, released his first album in 2006 titled Overdue, Black stare Don shyne in 2007, From the dust in 2008, the Lone Ranger in 2009, Secret Service in 2010, Follow the Leader in 2011, Chilopo in 2012, Gamba wa suilt in 2015, Captain Long John in 2016, Caplan bes in 2017, The dairies in 2018, Solid in 2019, Gamba season in 2020, Flaws in 2021 and his latest "Mountain Goat" in 2023.
Tickets are still available in the following categories: Student - K5,000, Standard - K10,000, VIP - K30,000, WIP - K30,000, and special tickets are sold at K150,000.
